Rose Griffin was an outstanding member of The Adelphean Society, initiated on March 14th, 1903. Executive Office recently received a package of her most loved and prized possessions from The Adelphean Society including her scrapbook, a photo, an Adelphean hatpin, and three beautiful badges. This was a wonderful addition to our collection at Memorial Headquarters, located on 1386 Ponce de Leon Avenue in Atlanta, Georgia.
Rose graduated from Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia and used her passion for music by working as a piano teacher. These items, generously donated by her family members, will be housed in Memorial Headquarters for the hundreds of visitors we receive each year to view and get a look into what it was like to be an Adelphean member.
We will cherish these items and hope you enjoy! If you would like to donate items or would like to book a tour of Executive Office and Memorial Headquarters, please contact us at info@alphadeltapi.com.
What a great addition to Memorial Headquarters! I’ve never seen a badge like the one on the top (just Adelphean).
